After an early career as a teen model, Canadian-born Cobie Smulders broke into series television with roles on SMALLVILLE, ANDROMEDA, and VERITAS: THE QUEST. She soon picked up a recurring part on THE L WORD, playing Jennifer Beals’ love interest.

Cobie currently stars in the popular, long-running CBS sitcom HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, where she plays TV reporter Robin Scherbatzky, a former Canadian pop star.

Cobie’s movie credits include THE LONG WEEKEND with Chris Klein, THE SLAMMIN’ SALMON with Bill Paxton and Michael Clarke Duncan, and the award-winning short film ESCAPE. She also co-stars in Delia and Nora Ephron’s off-Broadway show “Love, Loss, and What I Wore.”
