Brent Stiefel is a former pharmaceutical executive who now focuses his time and resources on two of his passions: philanthropy and emerging entertainment opportunities. Among his most recent projects is the just-launched Townie Records, a new kind of music label based on uniquely artist-friendly business principles. Townie (townierecords.com) recently signed its first band Hey Champ; the Chicago trio’s album Star will debut in July. Brent is also president of the charitable SITY Foundation, which is focused on funding important health, community, environmental and artistic causes. Brent has extensive business and dealmaking experience and is actively analyzing and investing in unique opportunities across the entertainment sector.
