John Richards is one of the most influential DJ’s in the country. As host of KEXP’s Morning show for the past decade, John in the Morning has been breaking bands and changing the way we listen to radio. Richards was instrumental in expanding KEXP’s audience through its strong on-line presence and has raised more funds for public radio on air than any other DJ while building the station’s core membership base. Today KEXP is an Internet leader with a worldwide audience. As a Seattle, NYC, and now worldwide tastemaker, John’s encyclopedic brain full of bands new and old comes in handy when placing music in film, TV and commercials.

John Richards and Amy Lindsey Richards, (formerly of KEXP and One Reel/ Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival) are Pair Music Collective. Since 2009, this dynamic duo has taken on music supervision for film, commercials and television, music playlist curation for businesses, and live music events.
